About HEARVELA
We think hearing help shouldn't take three appointments and a four-figure bill, for the many people whose hearing loss is mild to moderate.
When the FDA created the over-the-counter hearing aid category in 2022, adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss could finally buy a hearing aid directly. HEARVELA was started to make that simple: one well-made product, an honest price, and real people to help.
How we keep the price down
- We sell online, direct to you. No stores, no clinic markup, no commissions.
- One product, done well. We don't run a catalog of 30 models.
- You fit it yourself. OTC hearing aids are designed for home setup, so the price doesn't include fitting visits.
What we won't do
- Show a fake "was" price or a countdown that resets.
- Post reviews we didn't receive from real buyers.
- Sell to someone the product isn't right for. If you have severe hearing loss, ear pain or sudden changes, we'll tell you to see a doctor first.
